How to Use
How to Use
For Skin and Scalp (Topical Use)
Rule of thumb: Always dilute in a carrier oil (such as Jojoba, Sweet Almond, Coconut, or Grapeseed oil).
- For Body Massage: Mix 3–5 drops of Spearmint oil into 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil. Massage into areas of tension or sore muscles.
- For Scalp Refresh: Add 1–2 drops to a single serving of your regular shampoo in your palm before lathering. Avoid getting it in your eyes.
- For Localized Soothing: Mix 1–2 drops into a small amount of carrier oil and apply to dry or itchy skin patches.
2. For Aromatherapy (Diffusing)
This is the safest and most effective way to enjoy the "uplifting and stress-relieving" benefits mentioned on your packaging.
- Ultrasonic Diffuser: Add 3–5 drops of Spearmint oil to your diffuser tank filled with water (follow the manufacturer's specific instructions for your device).
- Steam Inhalation: Add 1–2 drops to a bowl of steaming hot water. Drape a towel over your head, close your eyes, and breathe in the steam for a few minutes to clear your mind. Keep eyes closed to avoid irritation from the mint vapors.

- Room Spray: Mix 10–15 drops of Spearmint oil with 2 ounces (approx. 60ml) of water and a splash of witch hazel (to help the oil disperse) in a spray bottle. Shake well before each use and mist around the room.
- Dry Cotton Ball: Place 2 drops on a cotton ball and tuck it inside your pillowcase or place it in a drawer to keep linens smelling fresh and minty.
⚠️ Essential Safety Best Practices
- The Patch Test: Before using it on a large area of your body, apply a tiny amount of your diluted mixture to the inside of your elbow. Wait 24 hours to ensure you do not have a skin sensitivity.
- Sun Sensitivity: While spearmint is not as phototoxic as citrus oils, it is always best practice to avoid direct, intense sunlight on skin areas where you have recently applied essential oils.
- Storage: Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children and pets.
- Contraindications: Spearmint oil is generally gentle, but if you are pregnant, nursing, or have a history of epilepsy, please consult your physician before use.
